Pre-built outdoor repeater built with the Heltec v3. Comes with everything you need to setup an outdoor repeater/client for Meshtastic.

Includes:

  • Waterproof Enclosure with Mounting Brackets.
  • 1x Heltec V3 (pre-flashed with Meshtastic)
  • 1x 3.7V 3000mAh Lithium Rechargeable Battery 1S 1C
  • 1x 6W 5v Adjustable Solar Panel
  • 2x Antennas. One rubber duck and a 7dBi Cellular Antenna with SMA connecter.

Practical Uses:

  • Permanent outdoor setup at home or on a building as a repeater.
  • Temporary mobile station for hikes, camping, search and rescue, emergency services.

FAQ

  • Can this product be used as a client that my phone or computer can connect to?
    Yes! Just keep in mind that the box needs to be within range of where you are wanting to use Meshtastic. You must be within range of  Bluetooth in order to use the mobile app to send and receive messages.. You can setup the box inside and use it as a base station as well but keep in mind it is solar and you should have the antenna outside and as high as possible ensure maximum range signal. How you set it up is up to you.
  • How far does bluetooth reach?
    This model as a bluetooth is about 20-30 ft.
  • How far does the signal go?
    This can vary but in an urban setting, you can get about 1.5 miles easily. In an open setting with clear line of sight, you can get up to 18.5 miles! Range varies on the environment. Try to get the antenna as high as possible.

  • This item (Heltec V3) does not have a GSP module.
  • This item is a “Made to Order” product. It can take up to 7 business days for the item is shipped.

Shipping

Items are shipped within 2 business days of the time an order is place unless the product is marked as a “pre order” or “Made to Order” item. I try to ship on Saturdays as well if time allows but I can not guarantee Saturday shipping. Shipping is sent using USPS priority mail and a tracking number is provided at the time of shipment.

Shipping is limited to the United States currently. I apologize for any inconvenience. The EU Government is crazy to think I will charge such a large amount for VAT.
